NAM LIONG GROUP was founded in 1972 by Mr. Deng-Po Xiao when he was 22 years old. President Xiao, born in a farmers' family, is an honest, passionate and straight-forward entrepreneur with a dream of achieving something great. Over more than forty years of leadership under President Xiao, NAM LIONG has grown to be an international conglomerate with nearly 60 business entities with subsidiaries established on both sides of the Strait of Taiwan and many other places in the world.

NAM LIONG GROUP built a solid foundation on its textile business. In response to the market trend, NAM LIONG GROUP integrated businesses from the upper stream and the lower stream of the supply chain and establish a vertical, comprehensive and systemic supply chain. Based in Taiwan, NAM LIONG GROUP set up its major offices and research centers on the main island of Taiwan. The headquarters is located in Tainan City, the birthplace of the group. NAM LIONG GROUP has been actively expanding in the world: it has established bases, factories and trade points from Vietnam to South East Asia, from USA to Mexico and Latin America, and from UK and Europe to Australia and New Zealand.
 
As a part of its expansion strategy, NAM LIONG GROUP implements a localization policy, which involves hiring local employees and cultivating local professionals. Therefore, as NAM LIONG GROUP develops smoothly and grows steadily in the world. Every employee in the group considers their responsibility to contribute to society; producing with excellent quality for the consumers in all over the world is the highest honor for Namliong’s employees.

With a unique viewpoint and a thorough strategy, starting with its original textile business, NAM LIONG GROUPhas been increasing its diversification. In the 21st century, Namliong’s employees have been dedicating themselves to establishing a mechanism of mutual cooperation, marketing, supply chain and technical cooperation and alliances.
